Benny Brontosaurus moves to Dinoville and befriends many different kinds of dinosaurs, including Ty, a Tyrannosaurus Rex! Benny attends a birthday party for Ty and is worried that he won't be able to eat any of the food since he is an herbivore. He handles himself admirably and is pleased when his friend, Ty, actually decides to order a nut burger at the local Dino King.

Your young veggie kids will enjoy the pictures and story, while older veggie kids will appreciate how Benny handles himself among carnivores. The book holds a great lesson for all of our kids: to accept our differences, be friendly, and respect other people's beliefs.

Vegetarian and vegan children who read this book will feel more confident about being a little different among their friends. It's a great read and a must-have for every veg family.
