Book Review

Frugal Families
by Jonni McCoy
Review by Erin Pavlina

Frugal FamiliesFrugal Families: Making the Most of Your Hard Earned Money is the second book Jonni McCoy has written on the subject of making wise choices with money. Her first book, Miserly Moms, told of her decision to quit her job and become a one income family so she could spend more time with her children. She learned how to feed a family of four for just $40 a week.

Her second book, Frugal Families, takes it a step further. She describes how to get the most for your money in areas such as gardening, furnishing your home, buying a computer, packing lunches for your kids, vacation values, and my favorite section, buying insurance (medical, homeowner's, etc.). After reading this book I can see how easy it is to save here and there and get the best value for your money. Her tips are easy to understand, and will save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars over time.

This book is a must read for any family. You can get a lot more out of your income by following her tips. Jonni also has an excellent web site where you can find Miserly Mom tips updated frequently. Check out the site at www.miserlymoms.com and start getting the most of your hard earned money today!
