Book Review

La Dolce VeganHow It All Vegan
by Sarah Kramer
Review by Erin Pavlina

La Dolce Vegan La Dolce Vegan is the third book in a series that has become one of the all-time favorite vegan recipe collections ever. When the first two books (How it all Vegan and Garden of Vegan) were so great, it wasn't hard to imagine that this one would be awesome as well. It's just something we've come to expect.

What I love most about this and the other two cookbooks is that the recipes taste great and are not complicated. You don't have to spend hours making one dish. The extra info that Sarah includes in the book is always welcome and appreciated.

Coconut Curried Veggies was so scrumptious that I had my husband make it again as soon as we ran out. It's now one of our monthly staples. There are some spicy recipes you'll have to tone down for the kids, but for the most part the recipes will appeal to children of all ages. A big plus in my book! (hmm, that's a double entendre...)

The design of the book is really nice as well; those pictures of Sarah really make you feel like she's right there with you in the kitchen. It goes without saying that I highly recommend this cookbook. I still use How It All Vegan and Garden of Vegan quite a bit, but it's nice to have another to add to the mix.
