Vegan Mastery Program

The Vegan Mastery Program offered through the Vegetarian Health Institute is a wonderful and comprehensive program that gives students a very thorough look at all things regarding health & nutrition in a vegan diet. The program is very clear and concise and easy to follow. The information presented is well researched and backed up by studies and foot notes. Many credible experts in the field have written many of the lessons in this course and the audio Q&A at the end of each lesson is excellent. The course provides tons of amazing and delicious recipes and many excellent charts, graphs and downloadable documents pertaining to vegan health.

The only thing that I can say as a negative is the way this course is advertised. The headline "Discover How To Thrive On A Vegetarian Diet and Stop Being Vulnerable To Deficiencies". I feel that sends the message that a vegan diet is at risk for deficiencies more so than other diets, which in my experience and opinion is not true. As long as a person is eating a well balanced diet with lots of variety and whole foods, I see no reason to be overly concerned with suffering from any nutritional deficiencies.

But aside from that this course is great for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and become a resource for others about issues surrounding nutrition and the vegan diet. It covers pretty much any concern or question someone could have about the vegan diet.
