Bethenny Bakes Vegan Cookies

Review by Erin Pavlina

Bethenny BakesWhen Bethenny Frankel decided to start Bethenny Bakes, she dreamed of creating "a line of clean and healthy baked goods from the heart filled with integrity". With her yummy vegan cookies, she has done just that.

All of her cookies are vegan, kosher, low fat, and wheat free, with some also being free of sugar and gluten. They come in delicious flavors like fudge chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate chip, cinnamon oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, and (my favorite) banana oatmeal chocolate chip. I also made a soy cream sandwich out of the cinnamon oatmeal raisin cookies and vanilla soy ice cream that was to die for! The cookies held up really well in the sandwich.

These cookies are especially well suited for parents wanting to give their children (especially vegan children or children with food allergies) healthy treats that they'll still love to eat. Before referenced parents will gobble them up too! Bethenny Bakes is based in New York City, but her products are available online at www.bethennybakes.com or by phone at 636-344-1033.

Rebecca Hess lives in New Jersey with her husband Steve and their crazy cats. She holds a masters degree in theatre and loves being part of vegfamily and getting to try so many great vegan products!
