Product ReviewsBody Gourmet Bath Productswww.bodygourmet.com Review by Rosie Reeves I really enjoy showers. I know I take too much time and waste too much water, but it really is the high point of my day.
Article continues below I tried several soap samples by Body Gourmet, such as Heather & Rosemary, Stimulating Sports and Creative Spirit. The samples were small, but they lasted a long time and gave me a surprising amount of lather. My favorite feature was the soap's smooth and creamy texture. The scents were light and spicy, not overpowering and perfumy, which was a plus. The Heather & Rosemary soap released a different scent with each use, making it a fun surprise every day.
To try out the bath salts I gave up my beloved showers and hit the tub. They come in scents like Milk Chocolate (yes it's vegan!), Lavender Garden and Romantic Rose. As with the soaps, the bath salts are also subtly scented without being overpowering. I was actually hoping for a stronger scent with the Milk Chocolate - I mean, we're talking chocolate! - but the aroma had a nice, gentle effect. My bath water transformed into a silky pool and my skin was left soft and slightly fragrant. The salts in the line dissolve completely, leaving no trace of grit, which is wonderful when you're laying back in a candlelit bath. |
