Kathy's Family Body Care products

On their promotional card Kathy's Family writes that they "Have created a product line using the universally appealing themes of family values, quality of life and humor to develop a brand using the company founder's heritage and actual family members". All of Kathy's Family products are labeled with photos of family members and cute anecdotes involving the relatives. The line consists of massage oils, lotions, bodywash gels, soaps, and soaks in scents such as 'early to rise' citrus, 'back to work' eucalyptus, and 'call it a day' lavender. I'm happy to report that they have never tested their products on animals, but sad to say that some of their products are not vegan (containing honey and beeswax).

When I received some of Kathy's Family products the first thing I did was contact the company to find out if the glycerin listed was vegetable or not, and I was assured that it was all vegetable. I first tried 'back to work' eucalyptus massage oil, and loved it. It wasn't sticky or overly greasy like many massage oils. The scent was light and refreshing. After the oil I decided to try to 'early to rise' citrus bodywash gel. I was disappointed in this product. The scent was fabulous but it left my skin feeling very tight and stripped, not at all moisturized. So instead of wasting a whole bottle I've taken to using it to wash my hand washables and now my clothes smell like wonderful citrus! I generally liked the soaps in Kathy's Family line, though the scents are very strong. If you're a big fan of fragrance, then you'll be very pleased with these soaps.
