Manner Wafers
www.manner.com
Review by Erin Pavlina

manner logo I recently had the pleasure of receiving some Manner Wafers to try. I didn't really know they existed but I'm always game to try new vegan treats. These looked exactly like those vanilla wafers I used to get at the store, sugar wafers they were called. They also look a little like a Kit Kat. Of course, that's where the similarity ends!

Manner WafersThey come in these little foiled packages and several flavors, including Hazelnut, Mignon, Raspberry, and Lemon. The Lemon really made my mouth pucker...you could actually taste the real lemon in there. Same thing with the Raspberry...good but be ready to kiss someone with that pucker! The Mignon flavor actually had chocolate around it and it was really magnificent. Steve enjoys eating Manner wafers with his Raja's Cup (see the review).

WaferThey have a light and airy construction. The somewhat bland wafer layers are spread with the creamy sugary stuff I mentioned above. It's a wonderful combination and believe me you need the blandness of the wafer to deal with the poignancy of the cream filling. It all serves to bring you back for more!
