As a vegan, there are times when I have wandered by a bakery and wondered if they could possibly have anything for me to try. Usually the answer is no. Lately, cupcake shops have been popping up everywhere. The shops near me do not routinely carry vegan cupcakes. I have to order a dozen of the same flavor well ahead of time. I typically have no desire for a dozen of the same cupcakes. Sweet Avenue has a wonderful solution for your vegan cupcake cravings!

These cupcakes are worth every penny! The Do It Yourself kit comes carefully packaged in a beautiful pink box with a brown ribbon. Inside the box, the cupcakes are cushioned with fantastic pink paper shred. Each cupcake and frosting flavor is nestled in it's own sealed cup. The cups are then tucked into a special holder to keep them in place. These cupcakes won't move around at all in shipping! The sprinkles come in adorable tiny bags.

Once I got past the fabulous presentation, I put my cupcakes and frosting right into the fridge. I wasn't ready to eat them, and wanted to ensure their freshness. The next day, my boys and I had a tasting party. In our box we received the red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes. Our frostings were cream cheese, chocolate, and vanilla. Even though the cupcakes and frostings spent the night in the fridge, they were fresh and delicious! I let them warm up for a few minutes, and that helped the frosting spread more easily. We were in heaven, spreading frosting, adding sprinkles, and licking up every last crumb. I think I may have even jumped up and down I was so excited. The cupcakes were moist and dense, with subtle flavor. The frostings were creamy, smooth, and devine.
