Breakfast Tofu Steaks

Ingredients:
  • One block plain firm tofu
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped rosemary
  • 1 Tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Braggs or tamari
Directions:
Drain tofu and slice into 1cm 'steaks.'

Heat oil and add Braggs and all spices.

When oil begins to spit add tofu steaks.

Cook on a high heat for 4 minutes and then flip for another 4 minutes.

Serve with mushrooms, toast and hash browns.

Comments:
I love to eat these on weekend mornings. It's nice to marinate the tofu the night before in the Braggs and spices and then just fry in the morning.

Try adding a satay sauce and serving these over rice.
