Dippin' Sticks

Ingredients:
  • extra firm tofu
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 2-3 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • teriyaki sauce
Directions:
Slice tofu into french fry shapes that are about 1/4 inch by 2 inches.

Mix corn meal and yeast together.

Dip the tofu sticks into the teriyaki sauce and roll in the corn meal yeast mixture.

Place on baking sheet that has been sprayed with oil and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Flip over and bake another 15.

When they are done let cool on paper towel serve with any kind of sauce to dip in.

VegFamily Recipe Editor's Comments: We enjoyed our Dippin' Sticks with barbeque sauce, sweet-and-sour sauce, salsa, ketchup, and Jo Stepaniak's vegan version of Ranch dressing. BBQ was my fave. Yummy!
