Vegan Recipes - Side Dishes

Ingredients:
  • potatoes
  • vegetable broth
  • 2 onions
  • sourkraut
  • magerine
  • flour
  • salt
  • egg replacer
  • water
Directions:
Peel potato and boil.

When done whip with vegetable broth and pepper. Set aside to cool.

Meanwhile cut onions into half inch slices and rinse sourkraut, melt a stick(or less) margerine in large frying pan. Saute onion until slightly soft, add kraut and brown really well. When done add to potatoes.

DOUGH
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup water add 1½ tsp of egg replacer to water mix and add to flour. Do not over mix dough. Divide dough in half and roll out to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 3 inch circles and put potato mixture in center. Fold in half and press together (adding water to one edge helps stick together). Add to boiling water for about 3 mins.

They can be eaten just like that our you can saute them in more margarine and onion until they are slighty brown. Enjoy!
