Why Did You Go Vegan?Emily-AnneI became vegan for ethical reasons. For as long as I can remember I've always had a lot of respect for animals, plants and our world. When I was about 11 I asked my parents if I could be vegetarian and they said no. I was glad inside as bad as that sounds. I knew what I was doing was wrong but now I had a reason not to! When I grew into a young teenager I would say to myself "we have special teeth made for eating meat. Not eating meat would be going against nature." Excuses!
