Why Did You Go Vegan?

It would be difficult to define the moment that I became vegan. It was a process really. I have been studying religious studies for many years, and I teach it now. In the process I became acquainted with a variety of "life views" that caused a little bit of introspection on my part. In addition, I took a Yoga class in which I decided that I would completely immerse myself in the yoga way of life, and I followed it all, including the diet. I discovered that I did not miss meat at all and have never returned to my former eating habits.

Above all, I think, I just love to cook and vegan cooking is the best. It almost demands creativity. so, why am I vegan? I experienced the health benefits of this lifestyle -- and it is a lifestyle -- and I have discovered through the course of my studies and teaching that eating animals is not conducive to spiritual or physical well-being.
